My philosophy of teaching is "child centered" where I try to instill a
love for learning in each student. I have high expectations for each
student; in academics, socially, as well as Christian growth. The
learning environment in my classroom is successful because
consistency, fairness, and expectations are clearly defined. The
students know that they are a member of a community where
students feel safe and comfortable. This positive environment
breeds mutual respect, which in turn guides students towards
academic success. If at the end of the school year my students have
achieved goals, grown towards academic independence, and have a
strong desire to continue learning, then I consider that a complete
success. |
